Jimmy Dye
Originally from Augusta, GA, Jimmy Dye has called Charleston home for three decades. His lifelong affinity for the Lowcountry began as a child when he spent summers along the South Carolina coast. After graduating from The University of Georgia, Jimmy moved to his summertime stomping ground of Charleston, launching a restaurant in the historic district then transitioning into the real estate industry. He quickly became a leader in the Lowcountry real estate market, and in 2006, Jimmy Dye and his business partner joined forces to launch The Cassina Group.
Since the company's inception, The Cassina Group has evolved into Charleston's innovation-driven real estate firm with a focus on accessible luxury. The firm ranks in the top 1% of all real estate offices in the Charleston area and is the #1 boutique firm in Charleston. Jimmy now serves as both founding partner and broker-in-charge of The Cassina Group. In his twenty-year plus real estate career, he has built a portfolio of notable sales in downtown Charleston, Mt. Pleasant's Old Village, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms and other areas of the Lowcountry. He specializes in Lowcountry waterfront properties and has extensive knowledge and experience with land transactions, including historic estates and large hunting tracts. He also has experience in marketing local, regional and national residential developments. Jimmy understands the delicate nuances of selling luxury properties and is well-equipped to handle both buyers and sellers looking to purchase or sell in Charleston. He is also a member of REALM™, a collection of the most accomplished real estate professionals in the world, which allows him to leverage the power of their global network to match qualified clients and buyers.
Jimmy's extensive knowledge of Charleston's coastal ecosystem and landscape has helped him develop a keen eye for residential and commercial properties in this unique market. An avid outdoorsman, Jimmy resides on Sullivan's Island with his dogs Molly and Johnny Utah, French Brittanys (l'épagneul Breton). He is an expert fisherman and enjoys participating in tournament sport fishing and inshore fishing, as well as other watersports including paddle boarding and surfing. Jimmy is a lifelong conservationist and a member of American Woodcock Society, Ruffed Grouse Society and Pheasants Forever, as well as a Life Member of Quail Forever. He is also skilled in yacht racing and has participated numerous times in the 777-mile Charleston to Bermuda race.
He has also served on committees for Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS, the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and is a RPAC Major Investor. He is currently a member of the Carolina Yacht Club.
